Its fully encapsulated to keep moisture out and offers matching 2700 K color temperatures that makes this bulb an ideal alternative to typical halogen PAR36s.
Offering an impressive lifespan, the fully potted Brilliance PAR 36 bulb is designed to fit in standard low-voltage PAR36 fixtures. These LEDs are thermally engineered to operate in enclosed fixtures and provide added security by automatically cooling down and reducing lumen output when exposed to extreme heat, such as air temperatures above 125 F. There is no color shift when lumen output is reduced. Its dimmable with the Brilliance Dimmer and most magnetic transformers. Though not intended for underwater use, its perfectly suitable for wet locations as well as for use in completely enclosed luminaires.
