Create the Perfect Backyard Escape

1. DESIGN

Consider your outdoor space’s purpose. Are you lighting a deck, a patio, or a path? Will the lights be draped or will they run along a structure? How much wire will you need to run lights from point A to B and so forth? This will determine what and how many lights and accessories you will need.

2. HANG

A) Install anchor points (where the lights will be securely fastened) at the beginning, end, and at intervals along the stretch where the lights will be placed. B) String the socket wire between these points, pulling it tightly to avoid sagging. C) Screw in the bulbs.

3. CONNECT

Connect your power, test the system to ensure everything is operating adequately, and enjoy new memories in the glow you’ve created. Don't forget to perform routine maintenance to keep your lighting in top condition.

Tips & Tricks on how to create the best install for your home.

Glass vs. Plastic Light Bulbs

Like most instances, choosing your bulb material is case-specific. While glass better prevents premature evaporation of the bulb’s interior, it poses a dilemma if the bulb falls and breaks in your yard. Glass gently edges out plastic when it comes to durability, but plastic is easier to maintain. If pools or young children are in the equation, we recommend going the plastic route.

Enhanced Cable Management

Waterproof plastic covering allows you to split lines and create a comprehensive lighting plan measured to your specifications. These connectors will help you perform a safe, quick, and professional installation without the need for junction boxes or messy wire splices.
