Outdoor Pool Lights

Aside from the lights in your pool, you should also consider installing fixtures around the immediate area to make it easy to navigate and reduce accidents, especially around slippery surfaces. Consider path lighting to provide a clear view of walkways and ensure adequate spacing to prevent blind spots. Additional inground well lights are also a great way to mark the boundaries of the pool while saving space for your fixtures.

Just because your lights are underwater doesn’t mean that your lighting maintenance procedures should be any more difficult than traditional outdoor lighting fixtures. Make sure that the fixtures are clean and free of any debris. If any lights are malfunctioning or damaged, turn off the electrical power to the pool lighting before removing the broken bulb. For any fixtures surrounding the pool area, make sure that they are also clear of any dirt and debris and trim any plants that could be obstructing the illumination.
