The DC-500 is a revolutionary backflow prevention device which consists of two independently acting, spring-loaded check valves. The RP-501 series of backflow preventers from A.R.I. are comprised of two independent, spring-loaded check valves and a hydraulically operated differential pressure relief valve. These backflow preventers from ARI include shutoff valves at each end of the assembly and are equipped with built-in test cocks. The 3/4" reduced pressure backflow is the most effective stopping force between your drinking water and high health hazards. Its differential pressure relief valve, allows it to instantly disperse potentially hazardous contaminants from the pipeline.
